ARSAG offers an un-matched opportunity to meet with aerial refueling military users and industry representatives from around the globe. The ARSAG annual meeting is a unique open forum on aerial refueling that includes international military and industry reports and briefings, seminars and working sessions. At ARSAG, high-level participants from twenty nations meet to exchange aerial refueling experiences, solve problems and discuss their plans and goals.
ARSAG is the DOD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems. If aerial refueling is part of your world, you need to be at ARSAG ’14.
ARSAG is honored that General Paul J. Selva, Commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill will deliver the Keynote Address on Saturday, 8 March. Air Mobility Command’s mission is to provide rapid, global mobility and sustainment for America’s armed forces. Maj. Gen. Richard C. Johnston is the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, Office of the Under Secretary of the Air Force, Washington, D.C. International Affairs is responsible for formulating and integrating Air Force policy with respect to political-military relationships, security assistance, technology and information disclosure issues, military exchanges, and attaché affairs in support of U.S. government objectives. Major General Thompson is the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Tankers, Tanker Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He is responsible for the planning and execution of all life cycle activities of the Air Force tanker fleet. His responsibilities include development, test, fielding and support of KC-46 tanker system in addition to modification and sustainment of the Air Force’s legacy tankers, the KC-135 and KC-10. ARSAG is chartered by the US Office of the Under-Secretary of Defense as a DoD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems under the Defense Standardization Program (DSP). According to the DoD, the objective of the JSB is to achieve common, mutually satisfactory solutions to shared requirements and problems. In its advisory capacity, ARSAG develops and recommends standards, technical and operational procedures, military specifications, NATO STANAGs, and designs for aerial refueling systems.
