ARSAG WORKSHOP / JSB MEETING

23 – 25 September 2014

The ARSAG Workshop / DOD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems will meet 23-25 September at Dayton Ohio.

All Working Groups will meet to develop and refine very important aerial refueling documents. These documents will become ARSAG Recommendations, NATO STANAGs, ARSAG Guide Documents. military specifications and standards for the benefit of the international aerial refueling community. The ARSAG technical and operational recommendations developed in their Workshops / JSB meetings are respected and followed around the world.

Shopping and a wider selection of restaurants are about a 2 minutes’ drive away. Your stay at the meeting hotel provides important support to ARSAG.

The National Museum of the United States Air Force, unequaled in the world for its extensive aircraft and history of flight displays, is only about a mile from the meeting hotel, a Thursday afternoon outing to the museum is being considered.

ARSAG is designated by the US DOD as the Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems. The objective of the JSB is to achieve common, mutually satisfactory solutions to shared aerial refueling requirements and needs.

Future Meeting Dates Set

ARSAG Winter Meeting

3 – 5 February, 2015

The ARSAG Winter Meeting 2015 is set for 3 – 5 Febrary, ’15 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Florida. ARSAG Panel Chairs and Steering Group will meet on Tuesday, 3 February, to finalize the agenda for ARSAG ’15.
An ARSAG Workshop / Meeting of the DoD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, 4 -5 February.
(Note that the hotel also is the site of the ARSAG ’15 Annual Meeting.)

ARSAG ’15

14 – 16 April, 2015

ARSAG’s annual meeting for 2015 will be held Tues through Thurs 14 – 16 April at the Grand Hyatt in downtown San Antonio, TX. The traditional preliminary meetings including the NATO JAPCC Meeting, ARSAG Steering Group Meeting, ARSAG Workshop/JSB Meeting will be held on Sunday and Monday 12 – 13 April.
The Grand Hyatt is located on the Riverwalk in downtown San Antonio Texas. The General Session and Exhibit Halls will be located in the adjacent San Antonio Convention Center.

ARSAG ’16

19 – 21 April, 2016

ARSAG’s 2016 annual meeting will be held Tuesday through Thursday 19 – 21 April, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville Florida.
The NATO JAPCC/Meeting, ARSAG Steering Group Meeting, and Workshop/JSB Meeting are scheduled for Sunday – Monday, 17 – 18 April.
Arrangements have been finalized with the Hyatt Regency where meeting facilities are state-of-the-art. The hotel has been re-branded as a Hyatt and updated since our very successful meeting there in 2004. Jacksonville is an attractive and convenient location.
(Note that the hotel also is the site of the 2015 Winter Meeting.)

DOD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems

ARSAG is chartered by the US Office of the Under-Secretary of Defense as a DoD Joint Standardization Board (JSB) for Aerial Refueling Systems under the Defense Standardization Program (DSP). According to the DoD, the objective of the JSB is to achieve common, mutually satisfactory solutions to shared requirements and problems. In its advisory capacity, ARSAG develops and recommends standards, technical and operational procedures, military specifications, NATO STANAGs, and designs for aerial refueling systems.
